A little preparation can make a big difference when you stay in a vacation rental.

The Vacation Rental Protection Guide gives you a practical process for documenting your rental before you unpack, knowing what issues are worth reporting, keeping useful records during your stay, and documenting how you leave the property before checkout.

It also walks you through what to do if a host later raises a question or alleges that you caused damage.

Designed for real world travel, the guide helps you create a clear record of your stay without turning your vacation into an inspection exercise.

Includes:

Practical guidance for before booking and arrival
A simple arrival documentation process
Guidance on what to document versus what to report
Tips for communicating with your host
A departure documentation process
Steps to take if you receive a damage allegation
Rental Experience and Room by Room Walkabout Checklists

The goal is simple: enjoy your stay, while being better prepared should questions arise later
